Social responsibility and charities we support

We are proud to be actively supporting City Harvest, an admirable charity that provides meals to vulnerable people all over London in a sustainable way.  In 2021 our contribution provided meals for 1,142 people.  This was from our premium extra virgin olive oil product that was well before its "best before" date and provided valuable, high quality nutritional benefits to people in need. 

As this was excess product that no longer had a long enough lead time to be sold through retail, it was therefore prevented from ending up on landfill.  A significant amount of measurable greenhouse gases emissions is saved this way, thereby helping the environment.

We admire this charity because it tackles more than one of the big problems of our time and we feel honoured to be able to contribute.  We would encourage anyone to join us in supporting this truly wonderful charity either as a volunteer, a donor or both!
